Foto 28.591 - Geëvacueerd door de Engelsen : inwoners van Veltum bij Venray. Zij werden naar Kamp Vreekwijk in Deurne gebracht, onderzocht en ontluisd. Daarna verdeeld, een gedeelte naar het Schooteind in Bakel, naar Lierop en Gemert. Vlnr. Een Nederlandse militaire arts met knijpkat, grootmoeder Barends, Gradje Hermsen, baby en moeder Nel Hermsen-Barends.

Holland, in common with all the War-torn countries of Europe, is now faced with the problem of finding homes for the thousands of unfortunates who have lost everything in the battle areas.
